The social network Nextdoor’s Treat Map is back by popular demand for another Halloween. The app is available on iOS and Android for the second year to give insider’s a guide to the best streets for treats in their neighborhood.
The app allows homeowners to mark their home with a candy corn to let people know they will be giving out candy. The Treat Map makes it easy to find the most convenient route for trick-or-treaters around their neighborhood.
For an extra scare, Nextdoor added a feature where you can put a haunted house icon on the map if you will be hosting a haunted house at your place.
For those who live off the beaten path, Nextdoor also created a series of citywide heat maps which identify the neighborhoods that give out the most candy. Those maps are only available for 20 cities around the world.
